Yes, there was mesh before Glowmesh! This gorgeous piece dates from the Art Deco era and in in great condition. Made by Park Lane in NSW, this is a genuine Regal Mesh piece. Bag measures 25 cm/10" across base. Clasp and lining in gorgeous condition, only very slight signs of wear on enamel clasp.
