POSSUM & MERINO WOOL
Fine Australian merino wool is combined with possum fur to produce a soft luxurious fibre which is lighter and warmer than any other fibre. It has superior wearing characteristics and is machine washable and resistant to pilling.
The possum fur comes from New Zealand where the introduced animal has become a major pest, destroying vast areas of forest and native wildlife habitat. The humane harvesting of possums and the use of their fur in possum/merino garments actually assists the recovery of the New Zealand environment.
